Adrian Furtună

Adrian Furtună is a PhD candidate at the Research Institute for Quality of Life, Romanian Academy. His doctoral thesis deals with the social memory of Roma slavery. Is a member of the Centre for the History of Eugenics and Racism within the Institute of History from Cluj-Napoca, Romanian Academy. He is coordinator of the “”Romano Rodipe” Research Program. Study of Roma History” at the National Centre for Roma Culture. His work treats the memory – history relation in the case of Roma slavery, and Roma deportation to Transnistria during Holocaust in Romania.
