Alex Carrascosa (1972). Artivist and professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of the Basque Country (EHU). Designer and facilitator of dialogue processes, conflict transformation, and citizen participation in various countries. Creator of the methodology “Dia-Tekhnē · Dialogue through Art” (Red Gernika, 2010). PhD from EHU with the thesis “Application of Art to Dialogue Processes, Conflict Management, and Peacebuilding” (2024). Coordinator of La Embarcada Artivista for the European Capital of Culture San Sebastián 2016, and promoter of the initiatives ArtamugarriaK and BatzART! (2006). UNDP consultant for the Colombian Truth Commission (2021). Collaborator with the platform Conexiones !mprobables (2013–2025) and the Peace Research Center Gernika Gogoratuz (2001–2025). Expert in fields such as Peacebuilding, Restorative Justice, Social Technologies, and Sustainability, with over 25 accredited publications and numerous articles in the press.
