The TCZ Final Conference (December 2025) also featured the screening of the Pilot Training video, followed by the presentation of the TCZ Curriculum and Training Materials. Moderated by Maria João Mota (PELE) and Micol Manunta (Herengracht401), the session offered participants a closer look at how the Contact Zones methodology was translated into concrete training experiences during the pilot phase.
- The curriculum and accompanying materials were developed collaboratively to support facilitators, educators, and cultural mediators working in the heritage and museum sector. Tested during the pilot trainings in Amsterdam, Bucharest, and Vitoria-Gasteiz, the programme explored themes such as difficult memory, identity, cultural dialogue, postcolonialism, multivocality, and related topics.
- Participants also had the opportunity to engage directly with the facilitators of the Bucharest training organised by the Goethe-Institut Bucharest — Luiza Medeleanu (Roma Education Fund) and Adrian Furtună (Centrul Național de Cultură a Romilor – Romano Kher) — during an interactive Q&A session held both onsite and online via Zoom.
